Who celebrates the Lunar festival with a great hangover? Well, us.
It made for an incredible exhuasting and painful realisation thereafter, but no one can deny the kick gotten out of it from the whole process. Clubbing was uneventful, as per expected. That's also because I've never been a huge fan of the crowded premise.
Apolinar's appearance was certainly one of the highlights and I still feel that he's really sweet and concerned about Yuling. Don't really the clubbing scene, but I accomplished what I wanted to do: experience the ride.
The drinking game was horribly fun. Yuling is really the one and only when it comes to organising and hosting this kind of games. Then accompanied by her boyfriend, it was a disaster meant to tip yours truly way drunk for the night. As expected, the alcohol claimed Huangmu as a first victim. Some truly amateurish sabotage backfired as the couple got a taste of their own medicine. Of course, I was game enough to down some shots on my own.
Oh how I regret that kind of ill-conceived bravado. I routinely, as they called it, merlion-ed throughout the night at Yuling's, as well as when I got home. Horrible horrible aftermath. No appetite at all, coupled with a boggling headache and queasy stomach, I had officially the worst day of my life yesterday. But boy was it a fun experience.
CNY, gawd the dread. I hope it passes so quickly that I don't even know of its passing. Suddenly had many memories from The Forces flooding back, must be also due to my IPT sessions and the return to Kranji. Recalled the Channel 8 New Year show that time, Reunion Dinner. That was so good, and kind of highlighted a particularly trying and what-if period of my life. Sigh~
